A lot of my favourites get their happy ending, and I think overall, the author leaves enough hints for readers to feel that the book has a happy ending for everyone involved. The ending was heartbreaking, but I don’t think I could have thought of a better way to wrap up Tea’s story. A whole lot of twists and plots are revealed and I really hadn’t seen any of them coming.
The finale continues Tea’s narration of the story, part in the letters she has written and provided to the Bard and part in person when she finally meets the rest of the crew in their battle against the villains in the story. But the alternate timelines moving between present and past still had me completely hooked. This is the first time that I read a book or a series, where you’re given the ending or most of the shocking points leading up to the ending, from the first book itself. I already knew what was going to happen from the first book itself, and still I cried.
But lets talk about the finale of this stupendous series.
